Lucian is an adorable, cute orange tabby who loves to play, play, play but slows down for a snuggle and some love. He is a soft orange color with tabby stripes that will darken and define as he grows older. He is always purring. His fur should be short-haired, but thick and luscious. He has gorgeous golden eyes, a dark pink nose and an interested, eager look on his face at all times. Lucian is the first to try anything, loves to climb a cat tree and scratches a post the way he should, eats dry and wet food well and uses his litterbox. He is quite speedy and probably needs a collar with a bell as he heads for any door you open and rushes by you in a flash. He is fond of his littermates, brother Logan (Axxxx01) and sister Lennox (Axxxx03) and seems to get along with cats of all ages. He will be a more dominant cat as an adult, because he likes to do what he wants and often leads the way. He would blend easily into a multi-cat household with proper introductions, but should probably have a friend close to his age to keep up with his playful antics, which older cats may or may not appreciate. Lucian had a rough start in life. He and his littermates were found closed up in a cardboard box and covered in fire ants. Their first month with SAPA was spent healing from horrible fire ant bites, the scars of which can be seen on his face, paws, legs and especially his ears, which have missing bits and thickened edges. All healed up, his sweet little chewed up ears and ant bite scars show no signs of giving him pain and many will disappear into his fur as it grows in. His nose is darkened in appearance, which may be another lingering scar from this bad experience. You would never know Lucian was ever sick or injured as he looks at you with his cute face and mismatched ears. He needs a loving home to help him grow and forget that something bad ever happened to him. I was scheduled to be euthanized, but San Antonio Pets Alive! saved me and now they are helping me find the forever, loving home that I have never known. I am currently located at San Antonio Pets Alive!, and I am in a foster home.
