Pancake is a 2-4 year old seal point himalayan. He is fully vetted (neutered, fiv/felv negative, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, flea treated) and ready to go to his forever home. Pancake was rescued from a DFW area kill shelter - he had been found as a stray, wandering the streets. Pancake is a wonderful little boy! He is very affectionate - and will cuddle in your lap if you let him! He tolerates other animals, after proper introduction; he is fine with other cats, but would prefer no dogs. Pancake must go to a cat experienced home. He does have a tendency to tell you of his displeasure with his teeth (meaning if you do something like clip his nail or groom him, he will bite the heck out of you if you let him!). So he needs to go home with someone who will not be afraid of this and will be able to handle him. NO KIDS!! **NOTE: Pancake does have a chronic allergy issue called rodent ulcers. Basically it looks like a cold sore (but is allergy related - NOT contagious!!). The ulcer flares up occassional (previous cats we've rescued with this condition average 2-4 times a year). Treatment for these rodent ulcers is antibiotics and steriods - so be aware that Pancake comes with guaranteed built -in vet bills!! Because of his allergy issues, Pancake must be fed a premium, grain-free diet (easily bought in a store - Wellness CORE, Blue Wilderness, Acana, Orijen, ect) OR feed a raw food diet (he likes Nature's Variety - especially the rabbit).** Adoption fee - $175.
