My foster mom calls me Charlie Brown and â??a lot of peopleâ?? in Diamond Dachshund Rescue call me Chuck. I am almost 7 years old and very easygoing. I love napping, walks, and sniffing every inch of the backyard. My favorite thing is sleeping in bed under the sheets and ear rubs. If you start rubbing my ear and stop I will nudge your hand to rub me some more. I am potty trained and use the doggy door. I get along with all other dogs and am very gentle when playing with younger or smaller ones than me. I love car rides and usually just lay on my bed or on the floor mat. In the summer I love sticking my head out the window and feeling the breeze in my ears. I love to be near you but I wouldnt call myself a lap dog. When you are gone at work I love lying on a blanket on the couch and I get really excited when you get home. My tail wags a hundred miles an hour. I am your perfect watchdog but I never bark in the middle of the night for no reason, I let my foster parents get their beauty sleep. I like sleeping so much sometimes I dont even want to get up in the morning, the bed is just so comfy. One important thing about me is that I have a sensitive stomach. My foster mom feeds me a special prescription dry dog food and it makes me a happy dog because I dont get stomach aches. I beg a lot when it is dinnertime but I am happy my foster parents dont feed me from the table because I would rather not have a tummy ache. I love squeaky toys and sometimes all the stuffing gets stuck on my chin and I walk around looking like Santa Claus. I snore pretty loud most of the time, people laugh because they think its pretty funny. All around I think I am a handsome, loving, and wonderful dog.
